MUGULA UPDATE: Mugula Promises to ‘Kill’ Valdet in First Round While Police Boss Sorowen Vows to Arrest Opium Smokers on Spot

Ugandan kick boxing champion Ronald Mugula has vowed to knock out his opponent Gashi Valdet in the first round come 5th April at the Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.
Mugula who was speaking at the launch of his fight date confirmation press conference that was held at Mt Zion Hotel in Kampala said that though Valdet is more experienced than he is, he expects to knock him out due to his height advantage what he called“his long arm reach”.
The prized fighter further said that since he is an American style fighter, Valdet who is skilled in the Thai style type will be a walk over for him.At the same press conference the deputy inspector general of police Mr. Andrew Sorowen said that they will come in to support the fighter because police was moving from being an active force to a pro-active one through community policing, he however stated that he will not hesitate to arrest anyone found smocking or in possession of marijuana at the venue.The charged Sorowen said that no plastic bottles or fire arms will be allowed into the venue.
Before the main fight, there will be undercard fights which will have Batantu Musa of Uganda vs. Dan Morris of the USA, Odoch Ronald vs. Tumukunde while others will be twoKenyans fighting General Fung and Abu Kikenwa respectively.
The fightsponsored by MT.Zion Hotel, UBC TV, will set back fans 20k for the general wing while the VIP will cost 50k according to the fight manager Bumaali Lubega.
