Uncertainty has raided the Kintu road-based Internal Security Organisation (ISO). This is after word went through that the Director General, Col. Ronnie Barya is planning a massive overhauling before the end of this week, The Investigator reveals.   

Our pries have gathered that the indefinable Barya has compiled a new list which habor names of top directorial heads, Divisional Internal Security Officers (DISOs), Regional Internal Security Officers (RISOs), heads of departments and sections and, several other senior staff.

“It is a massive reshuffle he is planning and, much as he has tried to keep it a top secret, those capable of reading his body language and mind have clicked he is up to something,” our pry privy with the top spy body narrated last night.

The huge restructure which is majorly aimed at Kampala and some upcountry regions, is expected this week. This is because of late; key assignments are not being implemented as people who would be assigned are not expected to stay enough to finish them. “He (Barya) has kept most of the assignments at bay. This is why he wants to urgently release the changes,” our generous source continued.

At the headquarters, changes will inevitably affect directorate heads of operations, logistics, monitoring, political, counter-intelligence, investigations and possibly, Marines. Others are the five city divisions and three Regions. Whereas the reshuffle is feared to be huge, there are no suggestions of retiring or firing individuals. Hope this revelation doesn’t cause change of mind. Watch this space.
